This project is one of the greatest achievements of our company due to a couple of reasons.

First of all, we had an opportunity to collaborate with a true legend – Michael Owen, one of the most esteemed English football players. He was chosen as the face of exquisite “Spey” whiskey on Asian market and when we heard we’d have to work with such a famous figure, we were simply stoked.

Secondly, the “Spey” commercials we made were co-produced with Taiwanese company CY Films, so we could not only share the experiences of video production with talented filmmakers from the other end of the world, but we could also gain the knowledge about specifics regarding Asian commercial market which has very distinct style and production values.

We wanted to invoke tradition, expertise and a bit of old English vibe in the advert, so we decided to use a “totally” English filming location and Manor House Stables were perfect for it – horse racing, manors, misty countryside are one of the most recognizable English characteristics and we believe we’ve managed to show the audience that “Spey” whiskey deserves its place among the best alcohol brands in the world.

Of course, every video production encounters some problems, but thanks to experience and dedication, we were able to overcome them quickly. The first little issue was the language barrier of the whole production crew, but after a couple of shots there was no problem at all – experienced filmmakers understand what has to be done no matter where they come from – London and Taipei crews cooperated splendidly.

The second issue was the availability of our star- Michael Owen is a very busy person obviously, so film scheduling was a bit all over the place, but thankfully, Mr. Owen was very serious about his job and the dedication he had for the commercials can be easily seen. His great attitude was a huge morale boost for the whole international team and we’d like to thank him for his great work.

 For our most recent productions, we have been working on something special, unique and nothing like we have done in the past. This is a motivational video called 'Change', made for Etisalat, which is a Middle East’s leading telecommunications company.

This motivation video was made for internal company use, as it targets employees and their motivation towards change at work. The video was created to make employees around the world feel more confident, and uplifted about adapting to changes in the work environment, as well as their personal lives.

This project has been a very exciting challenge, thus we will share the process of the production with you and tell you how we created this video.Firstly, we were provided with the narrator (voice-over) script, and from that we further developed our own ideas. Unfortunately, because we had a very tight project time frame (of ten days) we made the ultimate decision to partly use stock video footage. We also had to make use of our existing footage from our archives. Overall, our team spent two days on filming and the rest of the time on editing as well as researching for relevant and appropriate footage online.

Furthermore, the role of the narrator was greatly considered, as we had to choose the perfect voice-over actor for the narration in the video. All of the six actors we have found were excellent, however we had to choose one that had the most suitable voice tone for the video. Therefore in the end we agreed to cooperate with Lew. W, a very experienced voice-over actor.

In addition, we had to decide on the audio track, which would suit the narrator, as well as the mood and tone of our video content. The encouraging music was composed by Ross Bugden and it was ideal for creating a motivational atmosphere in the video. It was then our priority to edit the visuals, voice-over and the music to make a complete, and final video for our client.

After combining the three elements together, we conclusively achieved something very special. We hope that this video will inspire and motivate employees around the world, making them feel more confident towards changes in their lives We had a lot of fun creating this project and our entire team is proud to have had an opportunity to work on something so extraordinary and unique.

Good Vibe Films is bringing you a short documentary about the exciting 'Ram Place fashion market' 12 - 20 July 2014, which was hosted by Barbican. For nine days Barbican were throwing a pop-up street market in the centre of Hackney where designers, artist, traders and performers joined forces to celebrate London’s youth fashion. This vibrant and unique event not only included retail stalls from leading east London designers but also included performers, gigs, food and workshops.

This full of life event took inspiration from Jean Paul Gaultier's exhibitions, which are famous for illustrating the influence that youth culture has on fashion. This project aimed to enhance the existence of youth fashion in London and to reinforce its exciting and eccentric nature.

Too capture this event we filmed a short 5 minute documentary using the Red Scarlet 4k camera and also the Canon 5d camera. The production spread over two days including the walk from Barbican to London Fields and then from London fields to our final destination, which was the fashion market in Ram Place. We also interviewed a range of designers and totem artists such as Lyall Hakaraia, Laura Sheperd, Craig Lawrence and also a very well known hat designer Sahar Freemantle.

The totems were designed to represent the diversity and the electricity that London beholds. They created this look by using extraordinary fabrics and materials such as drinking straws, recycled rubbish bins and plastics that are found in the urban environment of London.

We had a lot of fun while filming this project and are more than proud to have been part of this fashion event. I hope you enjoy watching our short documentary as much as we enjoyed filming it.
